Providing Relevant Information to Travelers: Interviewing Stuart Anderson
Welcome to Part 1 of our new 5 part series of interview questions with eTS CEO, Stuart Anderson. Over the next 5 weeks, Stuart is going to answer 5 important questions people are asking about Travel Safety right now. In this part, Stuart outlines how organisations can ensure they are relevant information to their travelers.
Stuart, how do you ensure that the information you’re giving your travelers is relevant to them?
That’s an interesting point. First of all, I must say that you need to provide relevant information for your travelers – too many people don’t provide it. But how do you make it relevant?
Technology has been a massive leap forward for us. We can filter the information we provide to the individual. Why does a man need to see something that’s specific to a woman traveler? You don’t need to. How does someone find out about information in the region or country or even the street they’re in?
We can use Artificial Intelligence to filter all this out to make sure that what arrives on a person’s phone is relevant information for them. We’re doing this and making huge advances in being able to provide information that is relevant just for that individual.
